History

• A non-profit established in 2004, The Roanoke Center serves Bertie, Gates, Halifax, Hertford, Northampton and surrounding counties shares its economic models with communities across the country.
• The Roanoke Center leverages technology to develop the regional economy and promotes economic growth by assisting individuals and small businesses in capitalizing on available technological resources, and cultivating a regional commitment to reinvestment in the community.

The Roanoke Center is an e-NC Business & Technology Telecenter. It provides a central location for access to:

• Educational and technological resources
• government information
• Management services
• Worker training
• Financial resources

In order to support its community, The Roanoke Center accepts corporate donations and applies for grants. The Roanoke Construction Group and Roanoke Online LLC, located within The Roanoke Center, also helps promote investment and business growth in the region.

• Help our children stay in school and prepare for life.
